Bolton is one of the towns in Greater Manchester, a former mill town. This is the home to Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium. The famous boxer Amir Khan was born in the town of Bolton. Bolton has easy access by road being served by the A6 and the A666 dual carriageway and the M61 motorway has 3 junctions serving the borough. Bury is also a town in greater Manchester, only a few miles east of Bolton and about 6 miles away from Rochdale. Bury is most famous for its manufacturing of textiles in the industrial revolution and also its Black Pudding. A £350 million shopping center opened in 2010 with many shops including Marks and Spencer, Boots, The Body Shop and Debenhams, it also boasts a cinema and a bowling alley.
