Blackburn is a town in Lancashire, it is 20 miles north of Manchester. A former mill town. Blackburn was a boom town in the industrial revolution era. There is a market six days a week under the shopping center. The M65 links Blackburn to Junction 9 of the M61 and Junction 29 of the M6. Queen Victoria’s statue overlooks the bus station situated next to the grounds of the Cathedral. There are 9 state schools in the area and at Ewood Park is where you will find Blackburn Rovers.
